As said above, these systems are affordable, calibrated when they arrive and can be installed in a few hours.  You will need a laptop computer to run this system at the track which mostly everyone has.  If you do not have a laptop KillerRONS.COM has university access to refurbished laptop computers for around $300-$500.

The above system is "maxed out" as far as the 10 channel computer.  To add sensors you would need to purchase the 8 Channel Expansion Processor and 4 Channel Expander Module included in the system below.  The bulk of the expense being the expansion processor but the good news is later sensor adds would simply be the cost of the sensor itself (usually $70-$150 each).  Compare this price to the "big name" computers and you will see this system is significantly more affordable.  Also consider the new Wireless Download Kit for $295.  We just installed this on the house car and it is very cool.  You can download runs from the trailer or motorhome and/or watch the engine functions in real time while it is running at the trailer.
