DIVISIONAL IN A ROW

Our James Monroe took a second win in a row at the NHRA divisional level with a strong showing at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, OH.  Monroe picked-up another Wally with a great car and some good fortune.  Monroe's car was 6.47 or 6.48 capable all through eliminations for the nice win. This is the second win for Monroe at this event in the last three years.

MONROE COMES UP JUST SHORT IN
JEG'S ALLSTARS COMPETITION

KillerRONS.COM's James Monroe raced to his second final round appearance in as many seasons at the JEG'S AllStars event in Chicago in late June.  Monroe defeated D4's Jimmy Arabie in round one and then the always tough Dylan Stott from D2 in round two.  In the final JR Lobner's .011 package was too much for Monroe who was .015 on the tree but broke out at the stripe due to Lobner's package.

WE HAVE A WINNER IN THE WINDY CITY!

KillerRONS.COM's James Monroe had a great weekend in Chicago in early June as he snatched the win in Top Dragster to pick-up his fourth divisional "Wally" in the class.  Monroe was less than stallar in the final round on the tree but his car bailed him out running a dead-on 6.504 to take the big win with the new supercharged combination and fuel system.  The winning machine is shown above with the LODRS winners in the champion's photo.  This is the second win for James at the "Burndown at Sundown" in the last three years.

SPOTLIGHT
Ocala, FL racer Brian Bednar did a fantastic job getting his new blower combination ready for the start of the 2013 season in short order.  Bednar is utilizing a KillerRONS.COM bracket blower and fuel system to to double duty in bracket racing and NHRA D2 Top Dragster.  His initial results were great with a 4.39 at 160 MPH on the SECOND pass in his 1950# Race Tech suspended dragster.  See more on this combination by clicking the 1.020 sixty-foot photo below.
