MONROE GETS FIRST NHRA DIVISIONAL NHRA TOP DRAGSTER WALLY
James Monroe started the NHRA North Central Division Spitzer Top Dragster season in fine fashion with a win in Indy.  Nearly 600 cars were on the grounds including 51 Top Dragster vying for the 32 car field.  When qualifying was finished it took a 7.02  to make the field.  Our very own Killer James started the race from the 11th position (6.80 at 196 MPH) and went on to take the win.  Photo below and full story here.

MONROE HAS ANOTHER GREAT NIGHT AT NHRA DIVISION BANQUET
It was another great night for James Monroe at the NHRA North Central Division awards banquet the weekend of January 10, 2009.  James along with his friend and family celebrated his Super Quick Series championship.  The night was capped off with a third "ET Bracket Driver of the Year" award.  Monroe wanted to thank all of those that voted for him as it was very much appreciated.  Click here for full NHRA story on the division website.

MONROE CAPTURES SECOND NHRA DIVISIONAL TITLE IN THREE YEARS
James Monroe rolled into O'Reilly Raceway Park with two championship opportunities on the line the weekend of October 10.  Only a close final round loss to young Chris Carrico in the Shootout final kept the weekend from being perfect.  After that loss Monroe picked right up again Sunday morning with his Spitzer dragster and rolled late into the race to pick-up another championship his second divisional championship in two years.  Full NHRA story

MONROE TAKES JEG'S TOP DRAGSTER SHOOTOUT HONORS AT NHRA SPORTSNATIONALS
KillerRONS.COM's James Monroe took home the $3,000 and the prestigue that goes along with being the 2008 JEG'S Top Dragster Shootout Champion at the NHRA JEG'S Northern Sportsnationals.  The highlight of the event was a great first round race with 2007 series champion John Coughlin.  Both Monroe and Coughlin were .004 or better on the tree and the finish line margin was less than .001.  In the final round Monroe ousted points leader Jeff Brown in another close race for the great win.  Monroe threatened to sweep the weekend but came up .004 short in the semi's of Sunday's main event.  This weekend performance in the main event earned Monroe a third place finish in the 2008 NHRA divisional Top Dragster points.

MONROE JUST MISSES ANOTHER WALLY
In only the fourth Top Dragster event of his career James Monroe advanced to a divisional  final round.  At the NHRA Division 3 event at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, OH Monroe qualified 13th with a 7.102 at 187.76 and used a string of .00x lights to advance to final against one of the best, Troy Williams, Jr.  In the final Monroe and Williams left together with .007 and .009 lights respectively and Williams' 7.466 "dead-on" pass forced Monroe to give up the stripe and hope for an opponent break-out victory.  It was not to be on this day.

MONROE RIDES STEVE SCHMIDT RACING ENGINE'S "KILLER 584" TO THE SIX SECOND ZONE IN JOILET
James Monroe made one of the first NHRA six second Top Dragster passes utilizing a conventional cylinder head with no power adders on June 14, 2008 in Joliet, IL.  Monroe recorded an amazing 4.44 at 154+MPH 1/8 mile pass and finished the 1/4 mile just as strong with an ET of 6.999 and MPH of 191.70.  This not only shows the power of Schmidt Racing Engines but also the capabilities of a single Terminator and TSI "spragless" converter.  Read more about this engine combination and how you can own one
here.  See the most recent Schmidt ad in National Dragster here.

MONROE BECOMES SECOND WINNINGEST DRIVER IN SUPER QUICK HISTORY
James Monroe won his sixth NHRA Super Quick Wally at the completion of the rain delayed Mid-State Dragway Super Quick Series race in Bowling Green, KY.  A third 2008 semi-final finish was unacceptable this time as "Killer" finished the deal with convincing back to back wins over previous series champions.  Monroe is shown below in qualifying at the Havana facility; full NHRA story here.

WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T USE INJECTION ON A SPREADPORT ENGINE?
Here at KillerRONS.COM we prove all of the time that "those in the know" don't always know.  As most know James Monroe runs a Terminator on a 12* engine with good success but possibly even a better example than that is what Travis Laster did at a recent Atco Summer Series race.  Travis (who had been told what he was doing would not "work") went ahead and installed his trusty Terminator on his hew 582" with Dart Big Chief cylinder heads.  The results were 7.07-7.08 ET's at aover 190 MPH in an '08 Undercover with a steel block.  The capper is that "Laster Boy" went ahead and won the $5,000 top prize.  See below.  If you aren't one to believe bulls%*^ call James and he will give you the scoop how to make this work.

TERMINATORS DOMINATE EARLY IN 2009 RACING SEASON
Central City, KY's Lynn Ellison stole the Wally at the most recent JEG'S Super Quick Series race at Windy Hollow Dragway.  Lynn (below with family) used his Terminator, Primer Plus and bad-boy conventional-headed engine to wade through the stout 32 car field.  Lynn finds himself in the early points chase for the JEG'S crown.  The domination of Ron's Fuel Injection in this series is evident as our products have helped two of the four winners this season as well as the series champion two of the last three years.

Congratulations to our KillerRONS.COM racers on their early season success at Atco Raceway in New Jersey.  Terminators have now won four of the first 6 big money races at this ultra-competitive facility.  Ron Ciglar picked up the first big check of the season with a $5,000 victory early on (photo below).  Over the Memorial Day weekend Terminator users dominated the action.  Friday saw Travis Laster pick-up $5,000 as mentioned above .  The biggest news of the weekend was on Saturday when Al Staffieri stopped his good buddy and fellow KillerRONS.COM racer Rick Bell in the final to pick-up $10,000.  WOW!

On that same weekend it was an all KillerRONS.COM final at I-57 Dragway in Benton, IL in the $5,000 to win race.  In the final Terminator user Mike Buckley stopped Tom Barbero who has been on a bit of a tear with his new Flying Toilet.  Congratulations to both of these fine racers!

North Carolina's Steve Hester picked up an early season IHRA "Iron Man" at the Farmington Dragway Pro-Am in Top Dragster competition.  Steve used his Terminator to run a handful of 4.77 passes for the big win (below).
