MONROE VISITS SECOND JEG'S SUPER QUICK FINAL IN A ROW AT BUNKER HILL

On July 31 KillerRONS.COM's James Monroe visited yet another final round; this time at the Bunker Hill Dragway JEG'S Super Quick Series race. Monroe's .008 initiated run and 4.522 on his 4.51 dial wasn't good enough by .004 against Ford racer Kristina Lawyer. Monroe continues to hold a slight lead in the series going into the final event three events.

MONROE COLLECTS THIRD TOP DRAGSTER WALLY OF SEASON AT NATIONAL TRAIL

James Monroe used no less than an .011 light throughout eliminations to take the Top Dragster win at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event in Columbus, OH on July 25. Monroe bested "The Pirate" (Lynn Ellison) in the final round recording a 6.849 on his 6.84 dial for the win and is shown below with a crew of National Trails best local racers and customers who helped in the victory. Thanks guys!

It was an all KillerRONS.COM final at the July 17 Kil-Kare Dragway JEG'S Super Quick Series race (below). In that final, Bob Sheridan took out our James Monroe in a good race. KillerRONS.COM had four racers in the final eight as Tim Thatcher and Nick Hamilton joined Monroe and Sheridan in the quarter-finals earlier in the evening.

JAMES MONROE WINS TOP DRAGSTER AT THE SUMMIT RACING EQUIPMENT NATIONALS

This big win concluded a perfect month of June where Monroe posted a 13-0 record in elimination rounds and collected a pair of NHRA "Wally's".

MONROE WINS MUNCIE MEGA-4.30 RACE #2

June 19 - In what was essentially accomplished in a carbon copy manner of the first event Monroe picked-up his second $2,000 Muncie Dragway Mega 4.30 winner's check of the year. As in April, Monroe first pocketed the $500 MedPlus Low Qualifier bonus with a 4.323 at nearly 160 MPH. In the final Monroe used a .009 light on the "pro-tree" to take the holeshot win, once again. Monroe will try for the clean sweep of the series in the Fall.

MONROE WINS ROUTE 66 TOP DRAGSTER WALLY

June 13 - KillerRONS.COM's James Monroe (above) scores another NHRA "Wally" with a timely win in Top Dragster at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. Over a three day period with multiple rain delays, Monroe used an extremely consistent race car to advance to the final round against the "red-hot" Ray Miller fresh off of his JEG'S All-Star win the week before at this facility. In the final Miller was slightly ahead at the start with a .009 to .014 advantage but Monroe's alcohol and nitrous came through at the end in the double break-out affair with a nearly perfect 6.758 on the 6.76 marker.

MONROE WINS MUNCIE MEGA-4.30 RACE #1

April 17 - James Monroe picks-up the $2,000 Muncie Dragway Mega 4.30 winner's check. Monroe is shown above with family members and engine builder (Adam Layman) after grabbing the $500 MedPlus Low Qualifier bonus with a perfect 4.300 at 161 MPH. Monroe used a .002 light and a 4.338 in the final to take the holeshot win over the always tough Jeff Brown.
